What Is a Box PC?
A Box PC is a compact computer that works independently of peripherals such as a display and keyboard. It is usually placed inside a machine, a control cabinet or on a mounting surface, and works by connecting to a monitor, a touch screen or other devices. Industrial Box PCs are preferred in automation systems, machine control, data acquisition and edge computing applications. They are available with or without a fan, and with different processor and connectivity options.
